Below is a letter I sent out via
registered "snail mail" on July 7,2009.
A letter to two “Governors”,
I start this letter (aka epistle) to each of you on
July 4, 2009 - a day which the vast majority of
America’s citizens allegedly celebrate this nation’s
“birthday”. There are so many places I can begin
this letter, therefore I chose these particular
words as a starting place: “…with a firm reliance on
the protection of Divine Providence…” Fifty six
individuals signed the document that contained those
words.
Incidentally, just 56 men, out of the 1776
population of 2.5 million people (according to the
U.S. Bureau of the Census) put their names on a
document that publicly declared to “…mutually pledge
to each other our Lives, our fortunes, and our
scared Honor”. That was then, and this is now
however. Therefore, what did the vast majority of
American’s 535 “federal” representatives celebrate
this July 4? (2009) Physical evidence abounds that
it certainly wasn’t the “declaration” of those 56
men, or their constituency, let alone the
Constitution for the United States of America.
That “peoples” declaration began with a “political”
statement (paragraph). The next paragraph was a
“religious” statement that began with these words;
“We hold these Truths to be self-evident…” A
favorite statement of so called “Christians”
nowadays is this one: “The Bible says”. How many
times has each of you heard, “Well the Bible says”?
Here is an example of such “saying”; “Where there is
no vision, the people perish…” [Prov.29:18(a)] That
is what the bible says; what does the saying - those
words - mean however?
Each of you probably has a goal, undoubtedly more
than just one, just as I do. This writer is citizen
of the United States of America, and one of the
several States thereof, just as you both are.
However, both of you are the executive in charge of
your respective states. That is about to change
however, whereas one of you, Sarah Palin, has
resigned that position effective this coming July
26. The other, Mark Sanford is being “politically”
pressured to resign that Governor position.
Regardless, each of you “Governors” is an
individual, as is this writer. Collectively, the
three of us would be referred to as “people”, or as
the U.S. Constitution states, “We the People”.
However, one decision each of you eventually must
make is this one: “What, and/or who, will you
represent (serve), today first - or - first today,
and then tomorrow? [Cf. Math. 6:30-33] Consider what
the inspired words from the LORD state: (a.k.a. the
Bible says) “My people are destroyed for lack of
knowledge…” [Hosea 4:6] Has either of you ever
pondered the words, “My people”?
In addition, “the U.S. Constitution says” (a.k.a.
states) in part, “…to secure the blessings of
liberty to ourselves and our posterity…” There are
two words in that specific statement and “vision” of
the founding fathers that each of you (and me) has
in common - liberty and posterity. Incidentally, the
Bible says, “…proclaim liberty throughout all the
land…” [Lev. 25:10] The apostle Paul realized - as
did this nation’s founding fathers - that, “Where
the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” [2nd
Cor. 3:17], hence the “Colonial” phrase, “No king
but King Jesus”; was that phrase a goal or a vision
- perhaps a dream?
That Colonial phrase is also directly related to
this phrase, “self-government”, a phrase and a
“vision” that have been systematically removed -
politically and religiously - since my birthday, May
30, 1941. That former federal holiday, once known as
“Decoration Day” and today’s current holiday, July
4, 2009, “Independence Day”, bring me to the purpose
of this letter, and my physical perception and
Spiritual vision (b) of “…but he that keeps the law,
happy is he”.
One double-edged perception of this writer, per the
very recent political, personal “publicity” (aka
“news” coverage) in the media, is as follows, The
initial, practical, political and physical “reality”
of “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…”
are becoming (especially for each of you) more than
words on the pages of a book - oft times referred to
as “The Bible”. However, is “the Truth” of political
and physical reality becoming “self-evident’ to each
of you individually - and collectively - as
“Governors”?
It is very disturbing to me that each of you has
been attacked politically and religiously at the
personal and family (posterity) levels, disturbing -
but not surprising. Such attacks are indicative of
the continuing moral and ethical decline of what
used to be a Lawful “constitutional republic”, as
well as a “reliance” on this nation’s motto, “In God
We Trust”. Those attacks are also evidence that “We
hold these Truths to be self-evident…” are no longer
understood, let alone accepted by the educated,
modern day politicians, and their “machines”, i.e.
political parties .
Another perception of mine is this; each of you
Governors has much more in common with each other -
as politicians and as individuals - then either of
you might discern, and definitely more in common
than what the American religious and political
public will ever perceive or understand. One basic
and common connection, which has many facets,
between each of you starts with these eight words;
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge”. One
of those “facets” both of you are familiar with is
the corporate and the politically controlled media.
America is in desperate need of leaders - physically
and ‘Spiritually” - per what the Constitution and
the Bible “says”, as well as what abundant, physical
evidence reveals. Nevertheless, this individual
perceives both of you could become two of the many
leaders needed within America - contrary to what the
so called alleged political and religious” experts”
are “saying” about Mark Sanford and Sarah Palin.
Do not assume that “leadership” means just being a
politician, or “running” for such another political
type office in the future. Therefore, the purpose of
this letter is to extend an invitation, to each of
you, to be a guest and/or regular guests - to become
“leaders” and teachers of a “remnant” - via the
radio program entitled “The Bible Mechanic”.
Some of the more recent guests of “notoriety”, on
the program, have been the “Ten Commandments judge”
Roy Moore, and Bill Connor, a 2010 candidate for Lt.
Governor of South Carolina. Other guests of
notoriety have been Alan Keyes, Randall Terry (heard
on “The Frank Report), Sid Roth, Ted Pike, and
Russell Means.
Your own personal decision to accept or decline this
invitation is an individual decision and choice each
of you will make - one way or another. There is no
middle ground, whereas starting on Wednesday
evening, July 8, 2009 at 7:00 pm EDT, and for
subsequent weeks thereafter, Mark Sanford and Sarah
Palin will be the sub-topic of discussion on the
aforementioned radio program, produced by, and heard
on “The American Voice Radio Network”.
For the record, these programs will not be
“attacks”, politically or religiously, on your
personal credibility, or that of your respective
families. The main topic (purpose) will be to
expound (by two individuals of non-notoriety, those
being myself and Noel Benoist) what is right and
wrong with America, “politically and religiously”-
from a Constitutional and Biblical perspective -
using your recent coverage by the “elitist” media as
the groundwork for such.
Here are some things “The Bible says”, that each of
you, your advisors (political and religious), your
families, and the public at large should ponder,
specifically regarding the words found in John 4:
23-24, and this question: “What is truth”? “There
are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the
counsel of the LORD, that shall stand”. [Prov.
19:21] “It is better to trust in the LORD than to
put confidence in man”. [Psa. 118:8]
Stated in another manner, using some words from
George Washington, rather then the method of “the
Bible says” is this reality: “Government is not
reason, it is not eloquence - it is force! Like
fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful
master”. Thomas Jefferson stated the aforementioned
principles in this manner: “In questions of power
then, let no more be heard of confidence in man, but
bind him down from mischief by the chains of the
Constitution”.
It is obvious, at least to me and hopefully to both
of you also, the time has arrived - politically and
religiously - where institutional “government” once
again needs to be fearful of its lawful and rightful
“master” - “We the People” - this time “in the year
of our Lord” 2009. As for the institutional
“church”, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what
the Spirit saith unto the churches”. [Rev. 2:7, 11,
17, and 29; also Rev. 3: 6, 13, and 22]
Bottom line: whose and what “voice” might you folks
listen to and “hear” this day?
Sincerely,
Bill Clade [a.k.a. “The Bible Mechanic”]
