Religion is defined as ”a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature and purpose of the universe, especially belief in or the worship of God or gods; an organized system of belief in or the worship of God or gods; something one believes in or follows devotedly”. Politics is defined as “the science or art of government; the practice or profession of conducting governmental affairs; political methods or maneuvers; political principles or opinions; use of intrigue in obtaining power or control”.     

Within the preceding definitions, from “The Random House Dictionary (1978)”, are certain key words and principles, all of which have a direct and indirect affect on our individual and collective lifestyles each and everyday. American citizens are literally being “raped” each and everyday, for a war is being waged with weapons citizens see, hear, and use everyday. Unfortunately, most won’t even realize “The Rape” or the weapons, or what is actually occurring and/or why. 

 “Another book about religion and politics; thanks, but I’m not interested.” That is what you might be thinking. In fact, I’ll agree with you about this observation, “This is another book” – presently only an “E-book” and uncompleted manuscript; but maybe, just maybe, you are interested in money and why your take home pay doesn’t stay home? How about taxes, licenses of all sorts, and why there are such? Are there really such things as freedom and liberty? 

Tired of the “Religious Right”, or maybe you’re disgusted with the “Liberal Left”? Are you a Democrat, Republican, or Independent? Maybe you believe there is no God? You don’t believe we’re being “raped? “A war being waged with weapons that citizens use everyday; does this writer’s elevator go all the way to the top floor”, could be what you’re thinking.  

Have you ever wondered/asked, “What’s going on in today’s society”? Do you feel frustrated about life in general? Feel like your beating your head against a brick wall? Are you beginning to think, “Honesty is not the best policy?” Ironically your thinking seems to be and could be correct, at least in today’s society. Have you thought, “Something is drastically wrong”, but aren’t sure exactly what is going amuck? Think you can’t improve things or make a difference? Can one individual really change things?  

Are there any answers or solutions to the aforementioned questions? I think so; however you’ll have to keep reading so you can decide for yourself. And IF you do decide to continue reading, try not to reach any hasty and pre-mature conclusions. I sincerely hope you’ll enjoy the efforts of my research and many years of “real world” practical experiences concerning the aforementioned questions, and others, which will be asked along the way. But will there be answers and solutions also? That is a bottom line question. 

This is the bottom line answer. What you choose to accept or reject, including what is printed on the pages of this book, will be based upon what you currently think and believe to be factual and true. However “facts” are not necessarily the truth. For example, “Figures don’t lie, but liars make figures.”

 Stop here if you want to read a book by another “expert” and/or professional writer, as I’m neither. Stop here if you have preconceived ideas and opinions, and are not willing to, or will refuse to think “outside the box” - designed and constructed by men and women in the fields of theology, government, education and etc. If you did not like, or care for the old television series “Star Trek”, stop here and save your hard earned money and time, whereas this book will also take your mind, thoughts, and beliefs to places “Where no man or woman has dared go before”. 

But if you are willing to take that type of a journey, what you will discover is a book containing a common sense approach coupled with deductive reasoning, plain ordinary language and expressions, minus the same old rhetoric propagated on a daily basis by the alleged “experts and professionals” in their respective areas of expertise – such as politics and religion. Perhaps you’ll also begin to realize why diatribe is a favorite tactic of politicians. The major objective of this book is the hope of stimulating what you presently think, believe, and accept concerning today’s “governed” society. Are you really ready, willing and able to accept that type challenge?
